Other/the other/another/the others 特別容易混淆這幾個字的用法，該怎麼用呢？

● Another : 指「另一個」事物的意思，但沒有限定哪一個，可當名詞或形容詞用。
例句：I’m still hungry. I want to order another meal.
　　　There are 3 plates one the table. One is blue, another is black, and the other is orange.

● The other : 指「剩下的那一個」，有限定的意思在。
例句：Mary has two brothers, one is younger, and the other is older.
　　　There are two girls in the calssroom, one is wearing a blue T-shirt, and the other one is wearing a jacket.

● Other : 指「其他的、剩下的」，此單字為形容詞，非名詞。
例句：She has other things to do in the evening.
　　　Do you have other ways to solve this question?

● Others : 意思如同Other + N.，詞性為名詞，沒有限定任何事物。
例句：Some people like tomatoes; others like potatoes.
　　　People should learn by the mistakes of others.

● The others : 指「其他、剩下的人事物」
例句：Some of my friends play basketball; the others only watch basketball games on TV.
　　　I think this cup looks a lot better and nicer than the others in the store.
